The protection of personal data is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (GDPR), Law No. 4624\/2019, Law No. 2472\/1997 (in short, \u201capplicable legislation\u201d) and Law No. 3471\/2006 in the field of e-communications, which includes Directive 2002\/58\/EC (e-Privacy Directive), as amended by Directive 2009\/136\/EC, and other relevant provisions related to the fundamental right to the protection of personal data and privacy of individuals.<\/p>\n

To make this policy easier to read and understand, we provide the following definitions:<\/p>\n

4) \u00abProcessor\u00bb:<\/strong> a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller,<\/p>\n

5) \u00abRecipient\u00bb:<\/strong>a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not.<\/p>\n

6) \u00abThird<\/strong>party\u00bb: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data,<\/p>\n

7) \u00abConsent\u00bb<\/strong> of the data subject: any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her,<\/p>\n

8) \u00abPersonal data breach\u00bb:<\/strong>a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed,<\/p>\n

9) \u00abBiometric data\u00bb:<\/strong>personal data resulting from specific technical processing relating to the physical, physiological or behavioral characteristics of a natural person, which allow or confirm the unique identification of that natural person, such as facial images or dactyloscopic data,<\/p>\n

10) \u00abData concerning health\u00bb:<\/strong>personal data related to the physical or mental health of a natural person, including the provision of health care services, which reveal information about his or her health status.<\/p>\n

  1. 2. PRINCIPLES RELATING TO PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Personal data shall be:\u00a0 a) processed lawfully, fairly and<\/strong>in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject (\u2018lawfulness, fairness and transparency\u2019)<\/p>\n

    b) collected for specified,<\/strong> explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes (\u2018purpose limitation\u2019),<\/p>\n

    c)\u00a0 adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary<\/strong> in relation to the purposes for which they are processed (\u2018data minimization\u2019),<\/p>\n

    d) accurate and, where necessary<\/strong> , kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (\u2018accuracy\u2019),<\/p>\n

    e) collected for specified,<\/strong> kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed (\u2018storage limitation\u2019),<\/p>\n

    f) processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data,<\/strong> including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures (\u2018integrity and confidentiality\u2019).<\/p>\n

I and my associates process your personal data with absolute confidentiality and respect in compliance with the law and the principles that apply to the processing of personal data, as well as with the Lawyers Code of Practice and the Code of Conduct.<\/p>\n
